At Toxic Habits we respect your privacy. While we need information about you in order to serve you, we only request the information necessary to provide those services. And we don’t use it for any other purpose.
Information We Ask For
You may submit personal information (such as your name and email address) to receive newsletters or other information products or to register for the sites. This information is only used for the purposes that you agree to when you give it. It will not be rented or sold.
You may also submit information when leaving comments on the sites. Email addresses are required, but they are not displayed. They may be used by the administrator to communicate directly with you regarding the comments or questions, but will not be added to any mailing lists.
Much of the information is stored here, but some is stored by third parties, such as AWeber who provide newsletter services. You can check out their privacy policy to learn how they treat the data you provide.
Information Collected Automatically
Other information may be collected by the statistical programs of the web and may include IP addresses, what browser you use, etc. This information is used to see how people are using the site and to determine if the information is relevant and helpful.
Analytical data is collected and stored by the hosting provider and is available to me and the host admins. Also, information is collected by Google Analytics. Google’s privacy policy explains what they collect and how it is used.
Cookies
You may also find cookies on your system after visiting this site. Cookies contain information that a web site wants to track when you come back to the site later. While they can be used by malicious software to see where you’ve been on the internet, they are relatively harmless. Some will keep track of the fact that you’ve logged on to a forum. Others record preferences that you may have set for a given site. Still others are used by affiliate programs to see what site a customer has come from to ensure that the affiliate gets any commissions they are due.
